Christie Diane’s professional creative work spans from jewelry to custom leather accessories, to clothing, handbags, art and film.
In the jewelry world, Christie was David Yurman's PR & visual merchandising specialist, where she used her creative eye and stylistic experience to make crucial choices, with David's personal approval, to showcase his inspiring jewelry. Day-to-day, she combined just the right pieces to create just the right impact for display windows, red carpet appearances and fashion magazine photography shoots. In this capacity, Christie worked with a variety of industry professional and beauty icons like Kate Moss and Naomi Watts.
Following Yurman, Christie collaborated to create a complete line of jewelry for the Cirque du Soleil. The items are sold in their big top tents worldwide.
In the luxury accessories world, Christie worked with a licensee of the Vatican Library, Tuscan craftsmen and luxury U.S. retailers to design and market luxury Italian leather accessories such as hand tooled wallets, date books, photo albums and purses sold at Barney's, Saks, and other stores nationwide.
In the Hollywood limelight, Christie worked as a Costume Designer and Stylist in film, commercials, theater and dance with notables such as Sylvester Stallone, Melanie Griffith, Gabrielle Byrne, Jamie Foxx, Charlize Theron, George Lopez, and others.
Most recently, Christie was in charge of visual merchandising for Brooks Brothers retail stores. She oversaw window design, store layouts and rotation of product placement.
Christie brings creativity and vision to all she does with organization, energy and an entrepreneur's wisdom.
Education
Christie Diane has a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from the University of Oregon, where she also studied theater and dance.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude with high honors and a 4.03 GPA.
Christie also studied Fashion Design at the prestigious Otis Parsons School of Art and Design in Los Angeles. There, she won full tuition scholarship awards such as the Ina McClung Fine Arts Scholarship, Ahmanson/ Mark Taper Forum Fine Arts Scholarship, the Otis Outstanding Student Fine Art Scholarship, and multiple Otis Institutional Fine Art Talent grants.
Currently, Christie is a wife, and has a son and daughter. She is raising her family while still enjoying her entrepreneurial and artistic passions.
